Full-Stack AI Engineer (mid-level)

Ascending AI is a pre-launch, stealth-mode startup building relationship-mapping and communication-pattern tools. The role involves shipping features end-to-end across the entire technology stack in a small, hands-on team environment.

Core LLM/Agent Work

• Hands-on with LLMs: integrated models, worked with agents or RAG, measured and improved latency/quality
• Integrate agents, RAG pipelines, and data flows into features for users

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end feature development
• LLM integration

• Product co-design
• Analytics implementation
• Rapid shipping in ambiguous conditions

Core Stack Requirements

• Node/TypeScript or Python
• React/Next.js
• SQL/PostgreSQL

Tech Stack (Nice Extras)

• Vector databases: pgvector, Redis
• Agent frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Privacy-by-design and secure data handling
• Infrastructure: AWS/GCP/Vercel
• Observability: Sentry, OpenTelemetry
• Analytics: PostHog, Amplitude

Location: Remote or Hybrid; Amsterdam; +/-3 hours CET timezone required

Salary: EUR 80,000 - EUR 120,000
