Lead AI Engineer

Designing and operationalizing advanced AI/ML systems at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering end-to-end AI/ML systems from data preparation and model development to deployment
• Delivering solutions using GenAI frameworks like ADK, LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, LlamaIndex
• Leading multidisciplinary teams on complex requirements
• Translating use case requirements into cloud-based data and AI architectures
• Architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows
• Embedding safety and evaluation mechanisms across the AI lifecycle

Required Experience

• Major consulting firm or industry experience with consulting mindset
• MLOps strategy design and implementation at scale
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI — RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation harnesses
• Cloud-native architecture expertise (Azure, GCP, AWS, Databricks)
• ML pipeline automation tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, Vertex Pipelines, Airflow)
• GenAI frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Autogen, Google ADK
• RAG implementation and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes)

Eligibility: Must have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.

Locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle, Manchester, London (UK).
