Senior Gen AI Developer

This senior-level role at Citibank Europe plc Poland focuses on designing and deploying intelligent agents capable of autonomous task execution with minimal human oversight. The position bridges AI research and production systems, requiring expertise in agent architecture, machine learning integration, and software engineering. Hybrid: up to 2 days/week remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design intelligent agents with perception, reasoning, planning, and action modules
• Develop scalable architectures for agentic systems emphasizing performance and security
• Integrate machine learning models (LLMs, reinforcement learning) to enhance decision-making
• Automate complex tasks and optimize workflows across various domains
• Implement performance metrics and evaluation strategies for continuous improvement
• Research emerging agent-based systems and propose innovative solutions
• Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and product managers
• Create technical documentation for agent designs and procedures
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years in software development focused on AI, ML, or agent-based systems
• Finance industry experience preferred
• Proficient in Python and SQL; Java beneficial
• Understanding of knowledge representation, automated planning, and multi-agent systems
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, Pandas
• Familiarity with LLMs and frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, RAG
• API design and implementation for AI services
• Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, code reviews
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI, robotics, or related quantitative field; Master's preferred
