About the Role
Intergrid builds autonomous control software for industrial energy systems, with 100+ industrial sites in Europe running on its Autopilot platform. The Software Engineer (Operations) role joins a 35+ person team to make sure Autopilot runs safely 24/7 across a growing fleet of hybrid energy systems. You'll design and build AI-native workflows and internal tooling for alerting, monitoring, incident response, customer communication, and reporting. A core part of the job is using LLMs, agents, and tools like N8N to eliminate repetitive operational work, create self-healing processes, and reduce the manual effort needed per site as Intergrid scales. Building with AI through agentic workflows should already be how you work, not a skill you're learning. Strong Python is required. Full-stack web, Java, Linux, database design, and cybersecurity experience are valued extras. Office-first in Helsinki with some remote flexibility.
