Agent Builder - Freelance

Mirakl Labs is hiring a Freelance Agent Builder to design and deploy AI agents that automate internal workflows across company systems. The role bridges experimentation and production-scale implementation of agentic AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Agent Design & Development: Create workflow-driven AI agents (e.g., BDR, Contract, Accounting agents) with multi-step architectures
• System Integration: Connect agents to internal tools (CRM, data platforms, Jira, Drive) enabling real operational actions
• Iteration & Analytics: Pilot with users, analyze performance metrics, continuously improve accuracy and reliability
• Governance & Security: Implement guardrails, validation layers, access controls, and compliance standards
• Team Enablement: Build a scalable agent ecosystem and support internal adoption

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years as Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Software Engineer
• Proven experience building LLM-based agents with RAG and multi-step workflow design
• Python proficiency; SQL and data modeling expertise
• Production AI deployment experience
• API/MCP/webhook integration skills
• Low-code automation platform experience (n8n, Make, Zapier or equivalent)
• Fluent English and French required

• GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Gemini)
• Automation tools (n8n, Dust, Claude)
• AWS/GCP
• Optional: LangChain/LlamaIndex

Location: Bordeaux, France. Hybrid - 4 days on-site per week required.

Hiring Process: Recruiter phone screen (40 min), technical discussion with Data Science/Engineering team (1 hr), two STAR behavioral interviews (45 min each).
