Senior AI Engineer - Freelance

Mirakl seeks an experienced AI engineer (freelance / CDI optional) to join our 60+ person Data team, focusing on agentic commerce systems. The role involves prototyping, iterating, and integrating agentic systems into Mirakl products, working across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow
• Leverage LLMs and RAG techniques
• Own development lifecycle from design through MVP and production
• Build reusable frameworks ensuring scalability
• Maintain active technology monitoring

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with strong software engineering foundation
• Proven experience building AI agents using LLMs, RAG, and related technologies
• Production deployment expertise with shipped AI solutions
• Strong Python proficiency
• English and French fluency required

Tech Stack: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, Spark, AWS, SQL, Airflow, Delta Lake, LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow, MCP.

Work Arrangement: 4 days on-site (Bordeaux or Paris). Five-stage process: recruiter screening, technical discussion, 90-minute technical review, two STAR culture interviews.
