About the Role
MLabs seeks a senior engineer to design and build the agentic systems powering their intelligence platform at the convergence of LLMs, financial data infrastructure, and production systems. The role focuses on building intelligent agents for complex financial workflows.
Responsibilities include designing single and multi-agent systems with planning, memory, and tool capabilities, building and operating MCP servers with secure schemas, developing agentic workflows using LangGraph or equivalent frameworks, managing LLM integration with prompts, structured outputs, and tool calling, creating evaluation pipelines for quality, correctness, latency, and cost metrics, establishing observability infrastructure with logging, tracing, and state management, and mentoring junior engineers on agentic best practices.
Requires 5+ years software engineering with 2+ years production AI/ML systems, hands-on agentic architectures and LangGraph experience, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server expertise, LLM evaluation pipeline design and operation, strong Python proficiency and API design capabilities, and RAG pipelines, vector databases, embedding-based retrieval knowledge.
Preferred: financial data, DeFi/Crypto, or quantitative analysis background. Distributed systems knowledge and open-source contributions.
Telecommute role requiring 5-hour overlap with EST hours. Accepts applicants from USA, Europe, or Israel. $130K-$150K salary. Five-stage interview process including recruiter, hiring manager, two technical interviews, and CEO conversation.
