AI Agent Engineer - Poland

Redpanda is pioneering the Agentic Data Plane, a new category in AI infrastructure that makes it simple and secure to connect AI agents with enterprise data and systems. As an AI Agent Engineer, you will build AI agents internally, partnering with G&A teams (HR, Finance, Legal) to automate workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Legal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows using LLMs to automate complex tasks
• Move from concept to working prototype rapidly through iterative feedback
• Ensure reliability, measurability, and integration of AI tools into existing systems
• Provide product feedback to improve the Agentic Data Plane (ADP) for external customers

Required Skills

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Git, testing, clean code)
• Understanding of agentic architectures, data connectivity, security, and permission models
• Cross-functional collaboration ability
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
• Professional English fluency
• Familiarity with mainstream programming languages

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
• Portfolio of AI projects, bots, or agents
• Knowledge of Redpanda, Apache Kafka, or event streaming platforms
• Familiarity with G&A tools (Greenhouse, Netsuite, Slack API)
• Startup or forward-deployed experience

Must already be based in Poland; no relocation support.
