Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Mission Agents)

Vannevar Labs seeks an experienced product engineer to design and build agent-powered mission consoles for defense and national security customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and ship a cutting-edge agent-powered mission console
• Implement and maintain robust agentic workflows to enable missions at scale
• Collaborate with defense/national security stakeholders to create AI-enabled products and workflows
• Ship TypeScript/React/Node.js/Python solutions, leveraging Tailwind on the frontend
• Partner with customers and mission owners to understand workflows
• Define AI/agent surfaces and user interfaces

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional software development
• TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Python, AWS expertise
• Experience building agents using frameworks like LangGraph, Agno, or Pydantic AI
• User-facing product role background
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Prior AI-native product development experience
