Build production-grade LLM-powered applications using RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and tool-calling agents with guardrails
About the Role
Build production-grade AI systems for enterprise clients. Core duties include designing LLM-powered applications, maintaining evaluation frameworks, optimizing prompts across model providers, and providing ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement LLM-powered systems with RAG pipelines and vector databases
- Build maintainable AI applications with robust error handling
- Develop evaluation frameworks for performance monitoring
- Implement feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Optimize prompts across model providers
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Provide operational support
Required Skills:
- Hands-on work with LLM APIs and understanding of their capabilities and limitations
- AI architectures including RAG pipelines, vector/knowledge databases, and agentic frameworks
- Multi-step workflow and agentic system development using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Agents SDK or custom solutions
- Strong Python with production API development experience
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines
- SQL, pandas, and AI output evaluation
Desirable:
- AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex)
- LLM fine-tuning
- Real-time streaming and multimodal models
- Model observability platforms (LangSmith, Weights & Biases)
- Tool-calling agents and guardrails
Contract: £600-700/day, Outside IR35, 6-month contract
Location: London, 3 days in office (hybrid)
