Senior LLM / Generative AI / Agentic Solutions Engineer

A fast-growing, innovation-driven company in Budapest is seeking a Senior LLM / Generative AI / Agentic Solutions Engineer to design and build production agentic systems. The company builds and deploys AI solutions across Space, Manufacturing, AdTech, and FinTech.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Agentic Systems: Design supervisor/executor patterns, memory strategies, and robust tool-calling failure handling
• LLM Adaptation & Deployment: Fine-tune open-source models; optimize inference for production latency/cost
• Advanced RAG: Build high-performance embedding, retrieval, re-ranking pipelines
• Structured Generation: Enforce schemas/guardrails to minimize hallucinations
• Evaluation & Quality: Build automated evaluation harnesses, regression tests, prompt/model versioning
• Production Engineering: Build containerized APIs with CI/CD, observability, SLOs
• Cross-functional Delivery: Integrate GenAI features; mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years building production ML/AI systems, including 2+ years in lead roles
• Strong Python engineering (performance, testing, packaging)
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, tool-calling, and workflow integration for agentic AI
• LLM adaptation (PEFT/LoRA) and safety engineering
• Production RAG pipelines and vector databases
• Containerized services (REST/gRPC), CI/CD
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Inference optimization (vLLM/quantization)
• Event-driven orchestration
• Automated evaluation (LLM-as-judge)
