About the Role
djiiga GbR is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems including LLM pipelines, RAG architectures, and semantic search systems with real business impact. The company emphasizes hands-on ownership from day one rather than proof-of-concept work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end ML pipelines from feature engineering to deployment
- Build RAG systems with semantic search and knowledge graphs
- Build scalable GenAI services in production environments
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years hands-on ML/Data Engineering in production environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science OR demonstrable project experience
- Python as primary programming language
- Deployed models with ongoing track records
- Substantive NLP/LLM experience (required)
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
Tech Stack
- ML/DL: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers
- LLMs & RAG: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude
- Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus
- Data Engineering: Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, SQL
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, MLflow, Weights & Biases
Salary: EUR 70,000 - EUR 130,000 per year.
Location: 100% Remote within Germany. Flexible working hours, asynchronous collaboration.
