Senior AI Engineer (m/w/d)

djiiga GbR is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems including LLM pipelines, RAG architectures, and semantic search systems with real business impact. The company emphasizes hands-on ownership from day one rather than proof-of-concept work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end ML pipelines from feature engineering to deployment
• Build RAG systems with semantic search and knowledge graphs
• Build scalable GenAI services in production environments

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on ML/Data Engineering in production environments
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science OR demonstrable project experience
• Python as primary programming language
• Deployed models with ongoing track records
• Substantive NLP/LLM experience (required)
• Fluent German (written and spoken)

Tech Stack

• ML/DL: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers
• LLMs & RAG: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude
• Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus
• Data Engineering: Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, SQL
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, MLflow, Weights & Biases

Salary: EUR 70,000 - EUR 130,000 per year.
