AI Software Engineer

EggAI is a small boutique consultancy working at the forefront of enterprise AI. We use AI for both development and in our solutions. We are looking for engineers that are critical thinkers, understand the limitations of AI, but also where it can have a positive impact.

Location: Remote, EU +/- 2 hours timezone (EU, Norway, UK, Switzerland only).

What you'll do:

• Design and implement scalable, async-first backend systems and modern AI architectures
• Build production-grade LLM-powered applications: RAG architectures, multi-agent systems, autonomous agents that scale from task automation to workforce automation
• Develop event-driven architectures and multi-agent communication systems
• Build evaluation infrastructure for AI model outputs using tools like Braintrust, Langfuse, or similar
• Establish observability and production monitoring for AI pipelines
• Implement safety guardrails, hallucination mitigation, function calling/tool usage
• Operate across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization, CI/CD

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience designing and building production-grade LLM-powered applications
• Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript skills
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, and modern LLM tooling
• Experience with foundation model integration, complex agent pipelines, prompt optimization, and context management
