AI & Software Engineer Lead

PMG is a global independent marketing services and technology company with 900+ employees. The role involves developing 'Alli,' a cloud-based suite of AI-powered tools for digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading design, development, and deployment of scalable features within Alli
• Drafting architectural designs for reliable, complex solutions
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams
• Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
• Conducting code reviews and troubleshooting across development lifecycle
• Pioneering development using state-of-the-art technologies
• Architecting solutions and integrating AI-driven capabilities across the platform's three pillars: Actions, Data, and Insights

Required Skills:

Backend Development:

• 5+ years with NodeJS, Python, or Go
• 3+ years modern frameworks (ExpressJS, Django, Flask)
• RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Full SDLC experience

Infrastructure & Tools:

• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL
• Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Terraform or Ansible
• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack

AI Technologies:

• Familiarity with AI technologies like OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, and LangChain

Nice-to-Have:

• AWS Certifications
• Digital Marketing industry familiarity

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Team mentorship capability

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Hybrid (in-office Tuesday-Thursday). Relocation to Mexico City required.
