Join us as Legal AI Engineer to co-build Qonto's vision of an 'Augmented Legal Department' - a future where AI and humans work side by side to scale legal capacity across Europe. You'll design and ship the agents, tools, and operating model that will redefine how our Legal team works, working in close partnership with Alexia, our General Counsel at Qonto.

What you'll do:

• Co-create the 'Augmented Legal' vision for 2028/2030: work side-by-side with Alexia to map Legal's workflows, identify what's agentizable, and define the target state
• Build and ship production-ready AI agents: from prototyping to deployment and maintenance, own the full lifecycle of agents that genuinely transform Legal's day-to-day
• Design the humans + agents operating model: set the governance framework, quality standards, access rules, adoption rituals
• Drive adoption across the Legal team: run demos, design training, build feedback loops
• Use AI natively in how you work: tools like Claude, Cursor, and whatever's next

What we're looking for:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals: shipped production software end-to-end
• Practical AI/LLM engineering mindset: built agents or AI-powered systems before; understand orchestration, evaluation, reliability
• Product thinking
• High autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset
• Stakeholder management in cross-functional environments

Your future manager: Alexia, our General Counsel. She spent 10 years at international law firms across Paris, Tokyo, and London focused on Corporate M&A, before joining Qonto as General Counsel to build the Legal team from scratch. She now leads a 20-person team across France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
