AI Engineer

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud. Our Integrations, Data Engineering, and AI (IDEA) team is hiring a hands-on AI Engineer to develop and scale AI applications end-to-end.

LOCATION

Remote – Canada.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build, ship, and own end-to-end AI-powered applications, from ideation and prototyping through production deployment
• Design and scale company-wide GenAI capabilities embedded in operational workflows
• Develop solutions for Customer Support, People/HR, Legal, and Finance functions
• Integrate AI with internal systems and third-party platforms

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related engineering
• 5+ years software engineering or AI product development experience
• 3+ years developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring web applications and backend APIs
• 1+ year building and deploying production-ready Generative AI solutions
• Strong Python expertise and AI/ML fundamentals
• Experience with AI agent frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, MCP, A2A

COMPENSATION

CAD 104,550–135,300 annually, plus RSU grants with no vesting cliff and performance-based bonuses. Flexible remote work, professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans.
