About the Role
As an AI Engineer at smartclip Europe GmbH, you take ownership of the architecture and operation of AI agents, working closely with Data Scientists to turn AI prototypes into robust, reliable, and scalable production systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect reliable AI systems
- Define metrics, run systematic evaluations, and conduct A/B testing
- Work closely with Data Scientists to bring prototypes into production
- Evaluate and apply the latest AI/ML technologies and practices
Required Skills
- Python and AI frameworks: Pydantic-AI, LangGraph, or similar
- Docker and docker-compose containerization
- Git version control
- Software engineering best practices (testing, clean code, architecture)
- Agile cross-functional team collaboration
Optional: SQL, Spark, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog, Jenkins, Java
