About the Role
Agentic AI Software Engineer
Accenture is hiring an Agentic AI Software Engineer for their London team that partners with enterprise clients to create next-generation, agent-powered workflows engineered to scale in real-world settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, and observability capabilities
- Develop abstraction layers across multiple AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI)
- Build cloud-native, containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker
- Lead design workshops and communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders
- Deploy agentic applications across industry verticals (finance, healthcare, retail)
- Engineer enterprise-grade agents with policy-based routing, tool invocation, and evaluation harnesses
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization)
- Production-level expertise in agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, workflows
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#
- Experience with OpenAI, Claude, and Vertex AI platforms
- CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code familiarity (Terraform, Helm)
- Strong client communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
