About the Role
Pauwels Consulting is hiring an AI Engineer & Agentic Developer to take technical lead on agentic solutions built on Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Take technical lead on agentic solutions built on Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio
- Coach data scientists on packaging and reproducibility
- Design data and inference pipelines
- Implement MLOps practices (containers, model registry, CI/CD)
- Establish observability systems
- Apply compliance frameworks aligned with the EU AI Act
- Build integrations with internal systems via function calling, RAG, and orchestration
- Implement orchestration patterns — planning, retries, fallbacks
- Maintain selective autonomy and human-in-the-loop design principles
- Create evaluation frameworks including red teaming and versioning
- Manage technical backlogs
Required Skills & Tech Stack
- 3-5+ years AI/ML/MLOps production experience
- Strong Python proficiency
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, function calling, and RAG
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform
- Azure ML, Azure OpenAI/AI Foundry, Azure AI Search
- Security/governance (RBAC, secrets, network segmentation)
- Dutch fluency + strong English
- Master's in CS/AI/Engineering or equivalent
Nice-to-Have: Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-204, DP-700, PL-300, ISTQB CTFL); insurance/financial services domain knowledge.
Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
Location: Hybrid (minimum 2 days/week on-site in Antwerp)
Employment: Full-time (Freelance or Permanent option)
