AI Engineer

group.one seeks an AI Engineer for their Intelligent Experience team. The role focuses on converting proof-of-concepts into production-ready software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform ideas into scalable and secure production code with a focus on stability and performance
• Building enterprise-grade PHP and Python microservices with AI integration
• Implementing testing, observability, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD practices
• Collaborating with AI Process Developers on agentic AI systems
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing to technical architecture decisions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in PHP and/or Python software engineering
• Scalable production application design and maintenance
• Microservices and modern architecture development
• Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD proficiency
• Fluent Dutch (required) and English
• Interest in RAG systems, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or Neuron AI frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Symfony and/or FastAPI preferred
• MLOps principles experience
