Greenlight is a family fintech company serving over 6 million parents and kids through a banking app focused on financial education.
The position focuses on designing and deploying production Generative AI applications, AI agents, and ML systems for customer-facing and internal products. The engineer will combine LLM expertise with senior-level software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI agents with multi-agent orchestration capabilities
- Build RAG pipelines with vector search and knowledge management
- Integrate third-party AI platforms and LLM providers
- Architect security systems for AI agents including authentication flows
- Develop microservices (FastAPI, Flask, Node.js) as orchestration layers
- Create evaluation frameworks for AI systems
- Lead technical design and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- Production experience with AI agents and Generative AI applications
- Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and tool use
- Proficiency with frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Strong Python or JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Cloud ML platform experience (Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI)
Compensation
- Base pay: $160,000-$190,000 (NY, CA, WA); $160,000-$180,000 (CO)
