About the Role
Synthesia is the world's leading AI video platform for business, valued at $4 billion. This role focuses on developing new Agentic AI Agents with two-way communication within Synthesia using conversational AI technology. You will work with infrastructure code, prompt engineering, and directly with LLMs.
The Copilot Team is a multidisciplinary group of researchers and engineers building course design agents capable of designing, writing, and enriching interactive educational experiences. You will help define the architecture of agentic systems while ensuring best practices in engineering, deployment, and collaboration.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI agents using frameworks such as OpenAI Agents SDK, owning architectural components within the Copilot project, contributing to multi-month projects with iterative delivery, collaborating with product managers on commercial objectives, and evaluating feature impact using data pipelines.
Required: 7+ years software engineering experience (3+ at senior/lead level), deep backend, ML, and server-side expertise, experience with scale-up or enterprise engineering cultures, enterprise SaaS product development background.
Base salary starting at EUR/GBP/CHF 120,000 plus stock options. 25 days annual leave plus local holidays. No relocation support. Remote from EU countries, UK, or Switzerland only.
